Arturo Carrasco - Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Arturo Carrasco, CEO and Founder of San Juan Consulting, brings to the firm over 30 years of experience in strategy, information technology and management consulting. In this role, he defines the future vision for the firm, directs key engagements and heads the firm’s development efforts.

 

Arturo has counseled major companies and government agencies on their strategies, information systems,  and operations and has directed consulting engagements in a variety of industries, including health insurance, government and financial services.  In addition to Puerto Rico, Arturo has worked in several Latin-American countries including Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador and Venezuela.

 

Before founding San Juan Consulting, Arturo worked for a large Health Insurance Company  where he established a new Health Information Systems Division, supervised a  technical staff of over sixty people, participated in the formulation of the digital strategy and directed a number of digital initiatives including the development and implementation of the Mobile Strategy.

 

Prior to those endeavors, Arturo founded and directed Innova Systems, a management consulting firm in Puerto Rico, where he participated in several large information systems projects. Arturo also worked for Ernst & Young during 17 years.  He was the Principal in charge of Management Consulting Services in Puerto Rico and worked for three years in the development of the consulting practices of Ernst & Young in Venezuela and Colombia.

 

Arturo has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico, and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan
